The drive shaft is a place neglected by car owners, and it is often known that something goes wrong. For example, the car has a strong resonance. The transmission shaft is composed of a shaft tube, an expansion sleeve and a universal joint. Its role is to transmit the power of the engine to the wheels together with the gearbox and drive axle, so that the car generates driving force. In some vehicles, the transmission shaft is located between the transmission and the wheels, and is located below the front of the vehicle. This position must be close to the ground, so sediment and sewage will splash on the exterior of the drive shaft. Therefore, sealing and anti-fouling of the drive shaft of this vehicle is very important. During the running of the vehicle, the wheels will jump up and down, while the inner end is on the transmission, and there is very little jump. In order to balance the power, a constant velocity universal joint is used at both ends of the transmission shaft. Ball cage universal joints are used on the tire side, and most cars on the differential side use triple ball joints. The structure of this universal joint is simple and the price is much cheaper than others.
In order to ensure the normal operation of the drive shaft and prolong its service life, it should be noted in use:
1. It is strictly forbidden for cars to start at high speed.
2. Never lift the clutch pedal violently.
3.Cars are strictly prohibited from overloading and speeding.
4.The working condition of the drive shaft should be checked frequently.
5. Always check the fastening of the transmission shaft hanger, whether the supporting rubber is damaged, whether the connection parts of the transmission shaft are loose, and whether the transmission shaft is deformed.
6. In order to ensure the dynamic balance of the transmission shaft, pay attention to whether the balance pad is de-soldered. The new drive shaft assembly is provided as a set. When installing the new drive shaft, pay attention to the assembly mark of the telescopic sleeve, and ensure that the flange fork is in a plane. When repairing and disassembling the drive shaft, the assembly mark should be printed on the telescopic sleeve and the flange shaft in order to maintain the original assembly relationship when reassembling.
